CUSLAR 'Spanish for Families' classes

Fall classes begin September 28, 2013!

The goal of CUSLAR Spanish for Families is to provide a fun environment where children and adults
can learn Spanish together through art, music, games, mini-immersion and more.

The 9:00 and 10:00 classes are geared toward the BEGINNING LEVEL, no prior knowledge necessary. Though the classes are primarily designed to facilitate children's learning, this year we've adding an explicit "adults' practice time" where adults can review, converse and present short assignments in Spanish.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Fall 2013:

One 50-minute class per week, 8 classes total. Classes are held Saturday mornings in Anabel Taylor Hall, on Cornell Central Campus.

There is free weekend parking at Anabel Taylor Hall.

There is a limit of 8 families per class, so sign up early to reserve your spot!

Level: Beginning -- no prior knowledge necessary.

Instructor: Alba Sancho.
Alba is a trained and experienced Spanish teacher of children and adults. She holds a degree in Psychology and Pedagogy and is a certified teacher in her native Spain. She is dynamic, enthusiastic and caters to a range of learning styles.

Schedule:

Beginning: September 28, 2013
Ending: November 16, 2013

Classes take place on Saturday mornings:

9:00 - 9:50 am, Beginning class for families with children 3-5 years old
10:00 - 10:50 am, Beginning class for families with children 6-8 years old

Note: The classes are designed for families to take the class together. If your children span two different age groups, you may attend two classes the first week to see which class will be a better fit for your family.

Registration fee & Deadlines:

Early Registration Fee: $160.00 (includes two people)
Each additional family member: add $25.00

Deadline for early registration fee: September 21, 2013

Regular Registration Fee: $180.00 (includes two people) Each additional family member: add $25.00

Deadline for regular registration fee: September 28, 2013

Drop Deadline: October 5, 2013
